Szimpla Kert, Budapest. This is one epic ruin bar. It sprawls through two run down old buildings and the outdoor spaces between them. I loved this place!

Poland, a new favourite

Poland, the land of vodka! We did a great food tour of Warsaw, which showed us some of the customary foods (and drink) of the area. In 1915, 6 millions litres of vodka was poured down the streets of Warsaw by Russian soldiers fleeing the city.

At long last we were able to get back to travelling! We decided to pick up sort of where we had left off, heading to Central/East Europe.

London again..

After our week in Berlin we headed back to London. I needed to have another surgery to remove one of the screws in my leg, and the thought of trying to navigate the hospital system in Germany again was not that appealing. So London it was for the next two months while I got back to walking again. Continue reading London again..
