Heaven, also known as Brac Island

Brac Island, Croatia. This place was, in my opinion, absolutely perfect. The water was so crystal clear and bright blue. I just wanted to swim in it all day.

Brac Island, is one very lovely place.  After meeting Dash in Split and spending the night there, we caught the ferry across to the island for a few nights.  And I am so glad we did.  Split, in my opinion, is a bit, well, shit.  Just big, dirty, smelly and trashy.  Brac Island, on the other hand, is a gorgeous island with crystal clear blue waters and quaint little towns.

We rented a great little apartment in the town of Bol, with  a balcony overlooking the ocean.  Most of the time we spent on the island was just swimming, lying on the beach and eating.  Pretty ideal really.

Ian decided, whilst on the island, that we would brush up on his modelling poses.

We also made our way along the waterfront to Zlatni Rat, dubbed as one of Croatia’s most beautiful beaches.  And whilst Dash maintained it wasn’t a beach (due to the pebbles rather than sand), it was still lovely whatever you called it.

We also came across an abandoned old Resort.  There was some pretty impressive graffiti art gracing its walls, so of course that caught my attention.

It was definitely sad when we had to catch the ferry back to the mainland.  We had another two nights with Dash in Split, but I really felt like I could have spent weeks on the island.

How could you not want to stay somewhere that looks like this?!
